The current stable version of YOPER Linux is 3.0 . More information about the release can be found here
Here is also a seed for the current Yoper 3.0 Titanium DVD.

Please note that we do not fix the old versions ( < 2.9 ) any longer but only work on version 3.0 +. However, feel free to add bugs from the old yoper versions to the Bugtracker to avoid regressions in the upcoming release.

Development ISO

Development images are periodically released for the current Yoper 3.0 and we encourage experienced testing users to give us feedback. These releases should not be used for production (stable) systems.

Click here to go to the test ISO directory and choose the latest iso file. These images are built weekly and resemble the latest selection of packages and newest features with the installer.

Installation Instructions:

1. Download and burn the stable ISO file to CD
2. Insert your newly burned CD into your computer and restart
3. When the splash-screen appears press 'Enter'
4. At the prompt type "yoper" and press 'Enter'
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation

The default package manager in Yoper is now smart

Here is the default smart configuration

	[rpm-sys]
	type = rpm-sys

If you have totally screwed your smart configuration you can set them back to a default by typing 'smart channel --remove-all -y'. You should see above configuration afterwards.
